Proudly from Oaxaca, she decided to study Fashion Design at the Monterrey Center for Advanced Design Studies (CEDIM). She specializes in pattern making, drawing, cutting, and design techniques.
From a very young age, she felt a special attraction and interest in colors, shapes, and embroidery. As an Oaxacan designer, she has lived her entire life surrounded by art, culture, and traditions, which led her to develop a deep fascination with traditional clothing, an admiration for the work Mexican artisans put into their creations, and for Mexico's long tradition of textile creation.
She has always had a special interest in handmade items and the artisanal world. Motivated by the work of Oaxacan embroiderers, she decided to become part of this incredible tradition of creative women.
About the designs...
Her designs combine vivid colors and the ancestral customs of southeastern Mexico with modern and contemporary cuts that showcase the majesty of the embroidery; work done 100% by hand.
